Review by hotel critic
As an Italian who appreciates the blending of historical charm and modern comfort, Stella offered a cozy retreat in Lucca. The room exemplified Italian hospitality with its cleanliness and quiet ambiance. The proximity to the city walls was convenient, making exploring easy. The added value of free parking was a boon for travelers arriving by car.One highlight was the neighboring pastry shop, Stella's, where breakfast vouchers allowed us to savor delicious pastries and fresh orange juice. The seamless check-in process and friendly staff enhanced our stay. While Stella didn't boast extravagant amenities like shared kitchens or flat-screen TVs, its focus on essential comforts like air conditioning and free toiletries was commendable. The location's suburban charm may not suit all tastes, but the short stroll to Lucca's enchanting city center made the stay worthwhile. For those seeking a balance of value and Italian charm, Stella is a solid choice.
